Coinfirm’s AMLT Network and KAD ICT Hub Launch Education Program in Nigera that Rewards Users For Fighting Cryptocurrency Fraud

Nigeria is a massive and growing market with huge potential for the future and a great opportunity for new initiatives and technology such as cryptocurrency and blockchain. Heavily affected by fraud schemes, the introduction of cryptocurrency onto the market has created a new layer of schemes, scams and related fraud. Not only is there a lack of solutions and tools to help combat this new layer, but market participants lack direct incentives to do so. Coinfirm’s recently launched AMLT Network provided the world with a tool that not only allows users to submit data and report fraud related cryptocurrency addresses, but also are incentivized to do so by being able to earn AMLT tokens. With the cryptocurrency market and blockchain applications spreading all over the world, the need for courses, lectures and other forms of education is still growing.

That’s where partnerships such as the one between, Coinfirm’s AMLT Network and the KAD ICT Hub along with their collaboration The Africa Blockchain Lab shine through. Coinfirm – a global leader in blockchain regtech and AML/KYC services for blockchain and cryptocurrency along with the KAD ICT Hub – a state-backed IT innovation hub launching a joint education program that teaches students how search and analyze fraud related to cryptocurrency while using the AMLT Network to submit related data.

As Coinfirm wants to share the knowledge related to cryptocurrencies, blockchain and AML in both areas, Hub associates are going to be trained and will go through a series of webcasts and sessions, where Coinfirm employees will provide how to seminars on searching, finding, and submitting data on cryptocurrency related fraud and other nefarious actions. The short course will cover the most essential related topics that also gives them a strong cryptocurrency and anti-fraud knowledge base. This is going to be the first pilot course prepared by Coinfirm for AMLT Network Members.

The launch of an education program is a new step towards financial inclusion of Nigerian people by helping fight market corruption and a great opportunity to help prevent future potential scams from succeeding. Coinfirm’s AMLT Network – being a data-rich environment has provided them with more than enough information on various different scams that circulate across the network as well as the know-how to fight it, in turn making them documented experts in fighting cryptocurrency scams and helping make the Nigerian financial system more transparent and trustful.
