- You will have an opportunity to analyse 15 blockchain protocols (and we keep adding new ones!)
- As a part of working with a specific cryptocurrency, you will take part in workshops with developers of their protocols, gain hands-on experience with the protocol and have an opportunity to work directly with the creators of specific crypto (recently: Cardano and Crypto.org)
- You will work directly with the 0.5 PB data set, which sets us a high bar in optimisation of the data search, storage, and processing – we use non-relational HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric Database (formerly MapRDB)
- Due to the amount of transactional data in your daily work, you will use Apache Spark (we write in Scala or Python) – the computing cluster has 3TB of RAM and 1700 vcores
- You will have an opportunity to learn and use AWS tools – EKS, ECR, Cloudwatch, S3 and others
Right now, for our Tech Team, we’re looking for a
Java Software Developer
Your strengths and experience
- 3+ years in Java or Scala development
- Performing code review is an obvious step for you
- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot,
- Passion for Big Data and data-oriented approach
- Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, MapRDB, Hadoop)
- Interest or hands-on experience in smart contracts (Solidity) and blockchain technologies (Hyperledger) is a big plus
