皆さんこんにちは! Hi everyone! I’m Jagna Nieuważny and I have been at Coinfirm for almost 4 months! Those months have proved a steep learning curve as before joining the team I possessed only a very general knowledge of how blockchains work and an even fuzzier knowledge of crypto markets and regulations.

But thanks to the help and patience of my colleagues in answering my numerous questions, I can safely say I am finally beginning to grasp what the whole team at Coinfirm is doing in order to make the crypto ecosystem a safer, more transparent, and trustworthy space for all involved.

As a Sales Operation Coordinator, my role involves processing contact forms issued from key stakeholders trying to reach the company, answering any inquiries concerning our compliance and analytics offerings and allocating potential clients to the right salesperson. Since I am based in Japan, I additionally take care of our Japanese clients and partners according to their needs. My objective for 2022 is to get to know crypto businesses here and persuade them to cooperate with Coinfirm in anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.

Before joining the company, I worked as a coordinator for Japan-based companies on the ground in Poland, which meant assisting the Japanese staff in anything from translating machine specifications to arranging the logistics of the arrival of heavy machinery from Japan. This prepared me to handle any requests from our clients by grasping the potential of collaboration and matching them with the needs of our Sales Team members to ensure Coinfirm’s potential customers and partners experience a streamlined approach to working with us.

In my spare time, I like to explore the great outdoors. Living in Japan means countless mountains to be climbed everywhere, complete with picturesque Buddhist temples, great libraries and hot springs in between.

Last year I am proud to say that I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kitami Institute of Technology in Hokkaido, Japan, seeking methods to integrate a sense of ethics into Artificial Intelligence. I am also a bad, yet very persistent badminton player for my local amateur team.
