LONDON, 30th October – Coinfirm, the industry-leading blockchain RegTech company today announces the launch of its new innovative service, Reclaim Fork.
More than $300 million in BTC forked tokens have not yet been claimed by those they are owed to. This enormous value in tokens was sitting unclaimed and unused – with large amounts on crypto exchanges.
Reclaim Fork aims to be a beneficial tool for the blockchain community by allowing crypto investors to take back their forked tokens to further the ecosystem’s inclusivity. Reclaim Fork enables users to find the coins owed to them in a quick, simple and secure way so that no hodler is left behind.
A ‘fork’ is a change to the software of a digital currency that creates two separate versions of the blockchain with a shared history. When this happens, a new digital currency (the forked version) is created. Everyone who had Bitcoin at the date of a fork has the right to claim the forked coin from the Bitcoin protocol.
“Reclaim Fork is the latest product to come out of Coinfirm. We believe that customer protection and market integrity is critical for the long-term value of the crypto market. Forked coins so far are an unaddressed gap on the market. We are proud to release this latest product as we are certain this will be of great benefit to the blockchain community.” – Pawel Kuskowski, Coinfirm CEO and Co-founder
Users will be able to visit ReclaimFork.com and be led through an online and streamlined process with Coinfirm’s consultants to reclaim their forked coins. Coinfirm’s Reclaim Fork service will initially be supporting the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) protocol forks. Following the success of these notable forks the service will look to support many others in the future.
Coinfirm’s industry-leading analytic solutions and ecosystem of 200+ global partners will enable the firm to effectively and quickly track down missing forked tokens and return them to users.
